Harvest Prayer

Jesus told us that there is a massive harvest waiting to be gathered in for the Kingdom of God, and commanded us to earnestly pray for workers to go forth into His harvest fields!
At the Tabernacle World Prayer Center, we pray for four specific fields within this harvest. In 2026, we plan to devote three of our monthly prayer sieges to intercede for each of these four harvest fields.
Near: Our People, Places, County & Region
We take responsibility to pray for those near to us relationally and geographically. In 2026, we are focusing on praying for the people and places that are close to us (family, friends, coworkers, neighbors, etc.). We also pray for our city, county, and the larger region of the DC Metro Area.
Nation: United States of America
Located at the doorstep of our nation’s capital, we have a passion to pray for the U.S. in this nationwide time of great need and opportunity for God’s Kingdom. We plan to devote ourselves to pray for the leadership, people, and influence of our nation on the rest of the world, during holiday months that include President’s Day, America’s 250th birthday in July, and the end of the year.
Nations Within Reach: DMV Nations
The DC-Maryland-Virginia area is one of the most ethnically and religiously diverse areas in the country. God has awakened us to pray for the nations He has brought to our backyard. This year, we intend to cover many significant peoples in the DMV broadly grouped by region: diaspora of the Middle East (Jewish, Arab, Persian, Turkish), Asia (Southeast Asians, East Asians, Indians, Pakistanis, Bangladeshis), Africa (West & East Africans), and the Americas (Latin Americans, Caribbean, Native Americans).
Nation Unreached: Global UPGs
The day is coming when every people group on earth will hear the Gospel of the Kingdom (Matt 24:14), and we must pray for the many Unreached People Groups (UPGs) left with little to no access to the Gospel. To that glorious end, we plan to pray this year for the largest communities in the unreached world, commonly known by the acronym T.H.U.M.B. (Tribal, Hindu, Unreligious, Muslim, Buddhist), as well as other unreached communities (Jewish, Sikh, Jain). As God leads, we also plan to focus on specific UPGs within these fields.
Montgomery County, MD is TWPC’s home base. It is Maryland’s most populous county, on the doorstep of Washington DC, and the most ethnically, linguistically, and religiously diverse county in the U.S.
To aid strategic prayer efforts, we have divided up the county into twelve areas in this prayer guide, identified by their major cities and towns. We invite you to join us in interceding for the souls, communities, and nations of MoCo!
