Harvest Prayer

Jesus told us that there is a massive harvest waiting to be gathered in for the Kingdom of God, and commanded us to earnestly pray for workers to go forth into His harvest fields! At the Tabernacle World Prayer Center, we believe the Lord has assigned us to multiply prayer for four specific harvests, which we are strategically targeting in prayer through each month of 2025.
Near: Montgomery County, MD
We believe we are responsible to pray for those close to us relationally and geographically. For 2025, we are focusing on our home base of Montgomery County, MD (“MoCo”). We’ve broken up the county into twelve sections for each month of 2025, largely corresponding with MoCo’s election districts and identified by the major cities/towns in each one.
Nation: United States of America
We are located at the doorstep of our nation’s capital, and have a passion to pray for the U.S. in this nationwide time of great need and opportunity for God’s Kingdom. We pray for a different state each week in alignment with the prayer schedule of David’s Tent in DC, as well as devoting a week each to praying for Washington DC and the U.S. Territories.
Nations Within Reach: DMV Nations
We are located in the DC-Maryland-Virginia area, one of the most ethnically and religiously diverse metro areas in the country. We feel a special burden to intercede for the nations God has brought to our backyard, including many unreached peoples now within our reach. Each monthly focus begins more broadly (e.g. East Asians in the DMV), and narrows over the course of the month as God directs us (e.g. the Chinese community).
Nation Unreached: Global UPGs
We believe the day is coming when every people group on earth will hear the Gospel of the Kingdom (Matt 24:14), and that we must pray for the thousands of Unreached People Groups (UPGs) remaining with little to no access to the Gospel. Each month of 2025, we’re praying for UPGs in one of twelve global regions, asking the Lord to narrow our focus over the course of the month to a specific UPG.
